I decided to create a bi-monthly regualar post featuring some of the most perfectly proportioned and gorgeously executed genetic evolutions of the human form.

Thus entitled: Sights for Sore Eyes (SSEs)

Just to be clear, the criteria for selection are any one of the following:

• Perfect or close to perfect facial proportions
• Dark mysterious looks
• Androgyny
• Deep trance-inducing eyes
• NOT mainstream material*
  

So I was blog hopping this morning, and I came accross this site.
Apparently its maintained by some NY Casting Director.

This one right here deserves the first SSE honor:

Nick Menie, model.
He's got a somewhat Jonathan Rhys-Meyers thing going on at a different angle. Observe the thin caterpillar brows delicately curving over the edge. Allow yourself to drown into the limpid pools of blue that are his eyes. And the nose, how perfectly it balances the features of the face. And the pecs and the abs. Oh well, just enjoy.




* Can anyone please explain the fine line between indie and mainstream? Since indie culture is fast being assimilated by most people given its anti-it cool factor, where does one draw the line? Where does pop culture end and indie underground take over? Just wondering
