Yesterday marked the last day of my internship.
It was a bittersweet ending, to say the least.
From what I've been through,
I'd rather be running and rolling around in a daisy dotted field..
than spend the rest of my years toiling behind a desk.
I mean, I had fun with the people I got to work with. (pic below)
It was fine. But I was also tired.
I learned that i could'nt survive 8-9 hour days
inside a freezing hole where my personal space
was reduced to a width of 2 arms stretched as
I was squished in between two people at the corner
of an open cubicle.
Gaah. I could'nt take this assault on my privacy,
if I had any right to it at all.
And why would my alertness fail me,
causing drowsiness to hit at exactly 3pm
everyday? I would struggle to lift my eyelids open.
And no, the free vending machine coffee did not help either.
Just glad its over.
I dont think I can ever survive the corporate life of being confined
to a desk job with my butt sore and my eyes dry from staring at the
radiation-emitting screen for 8 straight hours.
