AC Here are today’s grandparents, Kimura Jinichi-san and Kimura Shin-san. Both were wed through an arranged marriage in the 3rd year of the Showa Empire. Granpa is acknowledged by Gunma-ken as a master/expert in making brooms.
こちら は今日のおじちゃんとおばぁちゃん、木村じにち さん と木村しんさん。二人は昭和3ねぇんに見合いけっこん。 おじちゃんは群馬ー県の達人に認定する。ほうきの作りの達人なのてしょ。

AC The material for the broom is called houkikusa as it had always been.
It will grow up to 2 meters in height. The seeds of the houkikusa, its color and luster and shape resembles “Tonburi”. It is thus referred to as“the caviar of the fields”.
ほうきの材料は、名前もそのままのほうき草。草丈は２メートルにもなるそうです。
ほうき草の種は、とんぶりといい、色つやと形が似ているところから、畑のキャビアとも呼ばれているそうです。

AC Grandpa is a husband who sets the rules of the household in their 50 years of being married. Grandma doesn’t bother to let out any complain in order not to cause disharmony/in order to get closer to Grandpa.

AC Operation Present for Grandma Begin. In the afternoon, the participating go-betweens in regard to the proposal of getting Grandpa to ask Grandma to go to the hot springs, make brooms.
But Sakurai-kun who suggested it makes a mistake with the reeds.
おばあちゃんへのプレセントだい作戦開始。 午後はほうき作り この参与仲人おじちゃんからおばあちゃんを温泉誘って貰います。 でも、ここで言い出しの櫻ー君がこの葦のひっぱてしまうのです。いっぽきうい厭うは未墾で行く三四いで。
